BLURB:

It should have been easy.
I needed the money. He needed a babysitter to keep him from snorting himself to death.
I was cherry-picked especially for him. Responsible. Optimistic. Warm. Innocent.
The worst part is that I should have known better.
Alex Winslow. British rock star. Serial heartbreaker. Casanova with whiskey eyes.
“Don’t get near the devil in a leather jacket. He’ll chew you up and spit you out.”
Sounds familiar? That’s because it was a headline in a tabloid the second time he got arrested.
Guess what? I didn’t listen.
I signed the contract.
World tour. Three months. Four Continents. One hundred shows.
My name is Indigo Bellamy, and I sold my soul to a tattooed god.
Problem was, my soul wasn’t enough for Alex Winslow. He ended up taking my body, too.
Then he took my heart.
Then he took my all.

REVIEW:

I loved this book. I feel like I should give it a re-read since the world was against me and everyone interrupted me when I was reading this *cries*

Here are my thoughts about Indie and Alex's story!

"Two casualties. One epic failure."

Alex is a tortured soul, a massive asshole BUT with a golden heart. He made my heart twist multiple times and even though he put himself in hell, he also had the strength to battle it in his own way. His love/hate and passion for what he does was one of my favorite things about this book.

"Alex Winslow was beautiful in a way storms were-only from afar."

Indie was the strong one here. She's one of the best heroines I've read in a really long time. I admired her. Indigo is truly special. Everything about her shouts unique and raw passion for every little thing she loves, including her family. She loves fiercely and purely. And I could feel that from the pages.

Their love was hidden by a fog. A really dense fog. A fog of their expectations, jealousy, and fear to love. And oh, boy, I enjoyed that slow burn.

"I'm going to take what's inside you and put it in my notebook, because I'm empty and you're full."

This story was full of art, vices, self-destruction, love, angst, music and a guy and a girl who unexpectedly filled the emptiness of each other.

Loved this book!! One of my most anticipated books of the year and it didn't disappoint me. There is just one scene that didn't make sense for me, but it's just a little detail that you won't even notice!

L.J. Shen always writes fabulous stories and somehow manages to write stories so original and amazing, real characters. Can't wait for her next book!

That's it! I totally recommend this book to everyone. I almost sure you didn't read anything like this before.
